The Missing Linguistic Layer in Fraud Detection
Why language analysis should play a bigger role in identifying and disrupting fraud campaigns.
Most fraud detection looks at the envelope: the sender, the infrastructure, the transaction pattern. Far less attention goes to the letter inside.
Language carries signals that infrastructure doesn't: who a message was written for, how it was adapted, and which playbook it came from. Treating those signals as first-class data, rather than free text to be filtered, could close gaps that technical indicators leave open.
Short note. More to come.
